For the Candidates who have been allotted through centralized counseling by the MCC of DGHS, New Delhi for admission to MBBS course in the Deemed to be University for the academic year 2022-23.

 ELIGIBILTY:

As per Medical Council of India Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997, (Amended May, 2018) Chapter II, Section 4- No Candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Medical Curriculum proper of first Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course until:

  • He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course (born on or before 31.12.2005).

  • He/she must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in 12th Standard and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for OBC-NCL/SC/SC/PwD Candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the regulations of NMC / DCI. Candidate should be NEET (UG) - 2022 qualified. In addition, they must have got a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) - 2022 for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.

  • The students who have received education abroad and wish to seek admission into medical colleges in India must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% marks in class 12 and their equivalency determined by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.  

  • Provisional allotment letter from DGHS/mcc.nic.in.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

 The candidate along with the parents/ legal guardian should report to the college during working hours of the admission office (8.30 am to 2.00 pm) and complete the admission process within the date and time specified in the counseling schedule of DGHS.

  • Allotment letter given by DGHS for admission is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the NMC and medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit will not be admitted to the course of study to which they are allotted by the DGHS.

 

  • The candidates should report along with Original Certificates and Demand Draft / RTGS transfer for Rs.25,25,000

5. Affidavit from the Sponsorer that he / she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate.

Degrees / Certificates of candidates must have been recognized and approved by the Association of Indian universities / Commonwealth Universities / International Association of Universities as equivalent to the corresponding Indian degrees / certificates

 

  • The Candidate should also produce the following Certificate/s, if applicable:

(a)    *SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as mentioned in the Appendix XI of prospectus/information bulletin of National Testing Agency (NTA) and it should be in English or Hindi in language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. Some of the States insist for English version of Caste Certificate. In case the certificate is in regional language the candidate should carry a Attested translated copy of the certificate in English/ Hindi.

(b)  *Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - Non Creamy Layer certificate as per the Central List of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in).  State list OBC-NCL Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) will fall under General Category.  The sub- caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC certificate must be in the standard format as mentioned in the Appendix XA, XB of prospectus/ Information Bulletin specified by National Testing Agency (NTA). 

(c) **Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate - As per the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated January 17, 2019 issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the OM No. 12-4/2019- U1 dated 17.01.2019 as well as the Letters No 35-2/2019-T.S.I dated 21.01.2019, 01.02.2019, 04.02.2019 and 15.02.2019 of MHRD Department of Higher Education regarding implementation of reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) for admission in Central Educational Institutions. (Appendix – IXA, IXB of prospectus/ Information Bulletin specified by National Testing Agency (NTA)).

(d) ***PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category. Benchmark Disabilities in accordance with the Provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016 and as per MCI guidelines dated May 13, 2019. (Please refer Appendix XII, XIII & XIV in the Information Bulletin of National Testing Agency (NTA) for details). No other PH certificate, issued by any other Authority/Hospital will be entertained.

  • Candidates without original certificates / documents shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted Medical College.

 

  • Candidates  who  have  deposited  their  original  documents  with  any  other institute/ college/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with institute/college/University” shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted Medical College.

REFUND POLICY:

TIME OF WITHDRAWAL FEE REFUND
Any time after admission but during the counseling period (When seat can be surrendered to DGHS). Transaction Fees of Rs.75,000 + GST will be deducted and remaining amount will be refunded in 14 working days.
Any time after counseling period or when seat cannot be surrendered to DGHS. No refund. Entire course fee (five year fees) has to be paid by the candidate.

 GENERAL INFORMATION:

 i. If a candidate fails to report on the date and time specified by MCC of DGHS in the allotment order along with the original Certificates/Documents and/or fails to pay the tuition fee by Demand Draft/Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS with UTR No. (For NRI Students through Wire Transfer) on the day of admission, he/she will not be permitted to proceed with the admission process. The vacancy arising there from will be duly notified to the DGHS.

ii. If any candidate withdraws from the course of study in which he/she was admitted, after the expiry of the cut-off date prescribed for admission to that course of study or in mid-term and the seat is rendered vacant, the first year fee paid will be forfeited and the student will also be required to remit the “entire course fee‟ for the remaining years of the course period.

iii. Students will be governed by all the University rules including rules for refund of fee, disciplinary rules, hostel rules and UGC/NMC Regulations for Curbing the Menace of Ragging.

iv. At the time of admission, candidates should sign declaration/undertakings declaring that they shall abide by the rules and regulation of the University including Anti-ragging Regulations of the UGC/NMC and observe good conduct and behavior and that they are bound by the University rules on payment of fees/refund of fees.
